Self-Portrait on Egg Tempera

Our professor is trained in knowing how the master's used a technique called, "egg tempera" which is using an egg yolk, instead of oils to bind to the pigment.

The result is a type of luminous painting. The paint glides on smoothly, and it is easy to blend.
