Easy 5 ingredient cookies!

This is one of my favorite recipes, and all you need is bananas, oatmeal, and whatever you want to add to them! Today I added Nutella, chia seeds (loaded with fiber, protein, and omega 3 fatty acids), and almonds.

Other than banana bread, what else do you do with 3 black spotty bananas? Smoosh them up for these cookies! This creates the batter for your cookie recipe that you can then throw everything else into.

Once you've combined all your ingredients and preheated the oven to 425, you can toss em'
in the oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

And oiala! Healthy snack or breakfast cookies that are absolutely delicious
and egg, milk, and gluten free (and satisfies your chocolate cravings).

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas
3/4 cup of old fashioned oatmeal
1 TBSP nutella
1 TBSP chia seeds
Handful of chopped almonds

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and then smash 3 bananas in a bowl until smooth texture. Add oatmeal, nutella, chia seeds and almonds and stir to incorporate. Drop a tablespoon at a time onto a non-stick or greased baking sheet. You can make the cookies a little bit bigger if desired. Batter makes 8-12 cookies depending on how big you want them! Enjoy :)

Addition: another batch I made contains:

3 ripe bananas
3/4 cup organic old fashioned oats
1 tsp raw honey
1 TBSP chia seeds
A sprinkle of cinnamon
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Delicious! Yields 6 bigger cookies or 8-12 smaller cookies.
